Who we are
Here Be Dragons — Verein für verantwortungsvolle Mensch-Maschine-Zukünfte is a nonprofit association based in Dornbirn, Austria. It was founded on 6 July 2026; its registered address is Spinnergasse 1, 6850 Dornbirn.
Why we exist
We exist for the humans we trust at the frontier of AI — builders, operators, founders, engineers, designers, and creatives — and for a calmer, more accountable relationship between people and the systems they build.
Leadership
The statutory board (Vorstand) comprises Thomas Geiger (Deputy Chairperson), Patrick Fürst (Treasurer), Christian Bader (Secretary), and Jodok Batlogg (Chairperson). The association's registered representatives are Jodok Batlogg and Thomas Geiger; under § 2(2) of the Austrian Vereinsgesetz they represent the association jointly.
Organizational model
We are a members' association under Austrian association law: a nonprofit, governed by its members, working in the open.
